Happy Friday everyone!!!!I hope everyone had a great weekend. We planning on getting up North with family for the weekend, so here is hoping we don't run into too much traffic tonight! Let me share that my middle child, is quite a silly little girl. She is always doing silly things to share, like crazy dances or odd little jokes (that make little sense to adults). One of her favorite forms of expression comes in the form of selfies on my phone. I came across this photo she snuck on there one day and could not even be upset that she was messing with my phone. How funny! I hope it brightens your day as it brightened mine!

As everyone else appears to be, I am saddened by the news of the closing of two peas. It was the first community I was pulled towards at the beginning of my online scrapping journey, and after taking a 2 year break, it was one of the first places I went back to, to get back in the groove of things. Some of my most valuable scrapping lessons came through the sites videos and the ever inspiring garden girls. Moving often as a military family, and never seeming to be near a great local store, two peas WAS my shopping store of choice. I am saddened by the apparent sadness in posts over the subject, and hope that those effected in their heart can soon realize the blessing it created for the online community and remember it with love.
When I am having a rough day, I quickly turn to music to brighten my mood. It is a sort of life line for me, as I come from musical roots. I try to share music in our every day, so it is no surprise when the girls go through their "mimicking" stage, to rock some headphones. I caught little K pretending to be like mommy and daddy with her headphones and game controller in hand(daddy's influence). I just loved the papers pulled together for this months Scrapbook circle kit, it worked with the feel of this photo so well! I hope that its bubbly feel and upbeat paper colors can help brighten wat appears to be a somber day!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend. I wanted to pop in quickly to share the new sketch challenge over at LCOM this week. When we were given this sketch to work with, I fell in love instantly. The diamonds left so much for interpretation!
I am not one to reach to art supplies for a layout, I tend to like to keep my layouts and painting separate, but the idea of using my watercolor pencils for the large paper behind my photo and some of the alternating diamonds felt right! This is the second time I have scrapped this photo, I cannot help but LOVE how it captured the essence of little A! I hope you love this sketch as much as I do, and if you find the time to join us, come check out the full challenge details HERE and link up for a chance to win a $20 gift card to the store! Here is hoping our weeks all start out well!

Photo op
I loved the colors of this kit, and finally found the right product to use on this rare selfie of hubby and I. Driving across country we stopped in Memphis to check out Beale street. It was so fun to visit, from the lights, to music, to the street princess carriage that the girls fell in love with, it put us all in amazing spirits, despite only being in the first half of our trip. We took it as a sign to snap a quick selfie at dinner. I love how it captured our spirit and happiness of the night.
I also wanted to share the awesome sale that is happening over at LCOM this week! It is the owners birthday week, so she is spreading the love by sharing an amazing discount. If there are any product you have been eyeing, now is the time to sneak in some shopping and indulge the paper obsession we all know you have!

Party people!
There was lots of cake and bubbles, and of course we rented a bouncy house, per request for every birthday! As you can see from the photo, she received so many fun gifts, including a doc mc stuffins play kit,a super hero cape, and dress up jewelry, which she chose to wear all at once! After the kids were all sugared up, all bounced out, and the sun had gone to sleep, it was tie for a good nights sleep before heading to visit family up state in the morning. We had a great visit, and I returned home to find that my fun news to share was posted; and I can finally share that I was asked to join the team for UmWowStudio for the next term! Their product is sooo fun and versatile. The new team is full with such a range of crafters, I am so blessed to have been chosen, and cannot wait to use their amazing product all over my projects! Come on over and leave some love for myself and fellow new team members!
I hope everyone is finding a good start to their work week! thanks for peeking in!

Its a celebration!!!
A new sketch is up over at LCOM, and we all were asked to create a birthday layout in celebration for the owners birthday!!!I of course have a few birthdays to catch up on, and I chose this photo from little A's 5th birthday! I have been obsessed with the confetti look lately and these confetti papers from Websters pages make my photo look so fun and festive! We would love for you to hop over and celebrate too by joining in on this super fun sketch, HERE.
And speaking of birthdays...we are on the countdown, just 3 more days until Little K's party day! You can guess how exciting this is for my girls, watching me create the decorations throughout only helps their excitement! Thanks for stopping by friends!

what I'm doing wednesday....
I love the idea of trying to blog a cap of life here every now and than. Not every week, because let's be honest, life can be monotonous and boring on a weekly basis, but every now and then, when a Wednesday calls, I shall sit with my coffee, before the bustle of happy babies and waking "ballerinas", in hopes to share my world with you, because what is life worth sharing without relatability!
So this week, I am.....
Wishing this sweet face a very happy 3rd birthday, how fast the years have gone. We had quite an eventful 3rd birthday, complete with an ER visit from accidental falling , cutting her chin wide open. The hello kitty band-aid and lots of mommies kisses seemed to help ease into the perfect birthday night!
Being a military family, we move quite often, and summers are always moving time. We have the looming of a move upon us the end of this summer, with the option to request where we go. We are originally from Maine, as are our parents, sisters/brothers, grand parents... so I slightly have my heart set on a quaint little home in the town of Portland, Maine...with great bones and lots off character of course... so I am dreamily looking at online listings like this adorable home.
While dreaming of homes, I love to listen to music. Music has a HUGE place in my heart, and I cannot complete most tasks without it. Instinctively I head to my Pandora or iheart radio aps, but occasionally I yearn for new music, causing me to use noisetrade. Its a great site featuring indie artists, with samples to hear music before you download. I love the soul in music such as this. Yesterday I came across this amazing song that just warms my heart, and I wanted to share.

What better time to scrap a school photo, than at the end of the school year! I just LOVED this months scrapbook circle kit...... I have made such fun projects with it! I have been obsessed with tone on tone circles, be it with cardstock or print paper. I decided to use that idea on the upper portion of this layout in two ways. First I made the large circles backing them with pink circles for depth, than I created a pop by turning the tiny circles to create a backwards pattern! I love the fun feel it adds! Plus getting to look at such a happy girl for the time it took to create this, how can one complain!
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend!!
