February Project Life

Life in the Marshall house can be busy filled, yet often monotonous , so I chose to do monthly project life spreads, rather than weekly. Honestly, most of my photos come from my iPhone. I own a great DSLR but the moment that need to be captured with no time to grab my camera, sometime just need a snap of the iPhone, which of course can sometimes result in blurry life images, but honestly, it is our blurry, busy, sometimes boring, beautiful life, and I am happy to share a piece of it with you!

I hope you are all enjoying a beautiful end to your weekend and thanks for peeking in!

Nerd shades!

Our Vacation is going amazing! The weather is lovely, and we have gone all over. Monday , Uncle Kenny came to visit, and we stopped on the way home to see Old Town San Diego. I have crowded my instagram with our fun, if you would like to see more of our great week! We had a fun day at the beach followed by dinner and some mall time. We are about to walk out the door for a day at Sea World, and tomorrow is set to be a day filled of adult fun at Universal studios while the girls have Easter activities with family. I am so blessed for this great family filled week. A few weeks ago I snapped this pic of little L at the store. She insisted on wearing these sans  lenses, to say she has her own style is a bit of an understatement!
For other great news, I was asked to join the team over at Lets Capture our memories. I am so excited to have a new scrappy home for a bit. Stop in and see there fun challenges they have going now and welcome the new team! I hope you are all having as wonderful a week as we are!

My everyday sunshine

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!The sun is gorgeous here, but I could do without the 85-90 degree weather, but I suppose it I cannot complain, when my Maine family is in highs of 55 today! Speaking of sunshine, I had the time to play along with Paper Issues this week, creating this "sunshine" inspired layout. My girls bring me amazing joy and brightness to my day.
I fell in love with these Jillibean soup frames the moment I saw them. I have been saving them for just the right project though! Same goes for that amazing wood cut frame from Two Peas!!I am super happy with how this turned out, it makes me happy just looking at their super cute faces. I hope it could brighten your day too, we are have way through the work week, and than I am on Vacation for a week. I am already dreaming of lots of sleep, scrappytime this weekend, and the anticipation of a family friend visiting for the week.

Kindergarten cutie

I know, School will be complete here in less than two short months, but here is my layout of Little A's very first day of school! She was so excited to join her big sister in full-day school. She has done great, and loves her teachers and friends. She often comes home and falls asleep, but I suppose it comes with the territory. I hope yall are having a great week, as always I am dreaming of sleeping in come Saturday!!

Are you gonna go my way!

This layout created a bit of a ruckous in our house last week. After a long day, i retreated alone o take a shower. With the water HOT and my music blasting, I got this amazing image in my head, a layout, in its completion, subject, photo, and all! I have dreamed of parts of pages before, but a whole layout; this was new territory for me! I came out so excited to share this with hubby, he acted happy, but honestly I know how hard it must be to get excited over paper and glue, when you don't play with paper and glue.
It took me a few days to complete, hand stitching can be daunting. Leaving love yesterday for friends, I came across this challenge idea over at Lets get sketchy, to scraplift yourself. I was peeking through my gallery to play along and realized that this layout reminded me a lot of this layout from back in 2010. I suppose a good blueprint is hard to break.
